  • identify course elements that should be assessed to determine teaching effectiveness
  • create, use, and analyze the results from instruments that assess teaching effectiveness
  • formulate changes to course as a result of teaching effectiveness analysis

Old objectives

  • Differentiate testing and grading from assessing teaching effectiveness
  • Identify different times for different assessment methods
  • Construct and/or use different assessment methods to evaluate teaching
  • Recognize when to use the results of assessment methods to alter instruction, if necessary, to meet learning goals
