Objectives
- test student learning by creating and administering quizzes, exams,
and lab reports
- set up expectations for student performance and work
- set up guidelines for late submission of work and missed quizzes and
exams from the first class meeting
- assess student work fairly and objectively for assigning grades
- provide feedback on graded material without subjective comments (praise
is always acceptable); provide anonymous peer performance comparisons
- return graded material in a timely fashion and indicate the expected
date of return of graded material at the time of submission
- show respect for the inviolability of the student-teacher relationship
