Introduction

This module will help you to determine the type of course you are teaching, the intended audience, and how your course fits into the curriculum. To do this, the module will be divided into three main sections:

• Course Types
• Designing Content
• Meeting Student Needs

Along the way, there will be supplemental material to aid in your understanding. This will include:

• Activities: Select and create course content using information about programs, student interests and feedback surveys. Map out course content in a hypothetical grid.
• Assessment: The module includes short quizzes to test comprehension.
