Overview

Delivering instruction brings with it a whole host of issues. It is one thing to create a PowerPoint presentation for your lecture. It is another thing to stand in front of twenty, fifty, or more than a hundred students and facilitate the learning process!

You will notice that this unit has more modules than the others. We have made more modules to allow you to research very specific aspects of the Course Implementation process. This unit handles a wide range of topics, such as different ways to deliver a lecture, to get students to interact with the content, to facilitate student-teacher interactions, to address the growing issue of large lecture classes, to integrate technology into your teaching, and more.

There are some highly practical modules as well. The Classroom Management and Classroom Environment modules deal with issues that have a huge impact on learning but don't get much attention. In these two modules, you will find tips and activities related to preventing and handling disruptive student behavior, addressing sexual harassment, and creating risk management and accessibility strategies.
