Classroom Interaction


Fostering Interaction

Frequent student-faculty interaction both inside and outside the classroom has a dramatic affect on the student. Interaction with the instructor bolsters student motivation and class involvement, enhances commitment to learning, encourages the student to reflect upon his/her own expectations and values, and makes the student less anxious about asking for help or advice in the future. Similarly, interaction between students fosters a supportive learning environment and challenges students to solve problems amongst themselves rather than relyiing upon the instructor.
