Objectives

Upon completion of this module, you will be able to:

  1. Design and Develop presentations that
    • Organize content in a meaningful way for students.
    • Make an argument that is clear and easy to follow.
    • Emphasize key points with appropriate graphs, charts, tables and media.
    • Provide enough visual information without detracting from presentation.

  2. Deliver presentations that
    • Maintain students' attention.
    • Prompt audience interaction.
    • Incorporate a variety of activities into the lecture or presentation.
    • Position yourself correctly with respect to the class and any visual aids.
    • Use presentation tools such as a laser pointer and a remote computer mouse.
